AC Shadows Unveils Surprising AoT Collaboration for Thanksgiving

In a surprising crossover event that breaks traditional forecasts, the game developer has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Revealed

According to the official release, "A strange confrontation pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of prohibited practices and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a clandestine cult.

The questline centers on "bizarre trials and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Changes

The teaser showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an special katana together with several objects hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
